Between the 29th and 31st of March, TIMES participated in the XI Portuguese Congress of Sociology with the presentation of research results in the presentation “What are social enterprises in Portugal? Multidimensional approach to organizations in their trajectories and institutional contexts” by Sílvia Ferreira, Michela Giovannini and Pedro Fidalgo.

This presentation took place in the scope of the Thematic Section Civil Society, Alternative Economies and Volunteering. This section was created in 2018 and aims to give visibility to the study and practices of the diverse field of this third sector, between the State and the market economy, bringing together researchers, professionals and professors. The sessions organized by SCEAV dealt with themes such as solidarity economy, microcredit and common goods, civil society, associations and voluntary work and the third sector, social enterprises and social innovation.
