- Social Economy Satellite Account:
The Social Economy Satellite Account (CSES) was prepared under the cooperation protocol signed in 2011 between the National Institute of Statistics, I.P. (INE) and the António Sérgio Cooperative for the Social Economy, CIPRL (CASES). It arose from the need to comprehensively assess the economic dimension and the main features of the Social Economy in Portugal.

- Social Economy Sector Survey
In June 2019, INE launched the Social Economy Sector Survey (ISES), in collaboration with CASES.
The questionnaire was addressed to the top management members of the entities, intending to characterize the higher education sector, and was subdivided into three main modules: A – Characterization of the entity, B – Management practices of the entity and C – Information on the member of the top management responsible for the information. It was carried out between June and September 2019, with the year 2018 as the reference period for responses. The survey was launched with a sample of 6 019 higher education entities, with 3 550 valid responses being considered in this study (59.0% of the sample).

- Voluntary Work Survey
The ITV 2018 was an autonomous module of the Employment Survey for the 3rd quarter of 2018. It focused on fundamental variables for the characterization of volunteering, namely the number of sociodemographic characteristics, institutional framework, type of task volunteers and number of hours of work . dedicated work.
In 2013, INE released the results of the 2012 Voluntary Work Survey (ITV 2012), which constituted a pilot survey.
